When I took this photograph I was out with the family enjoying the fall colors in Teller County, Colorado. This landscape scene captures the bright vivid colors of autumn in Colorado. In the center of the image there is a lake that is on private land. I photographed this image from a road that is known as Gold Camp Road, which is a popular road between Colorado Springs and Victor. Every year during the fall Gold Camp road is packed with Leaf lookers, trying to get that perfect photo. When the sun light hits the Aspen leaves it is almost like gold. When you are in the middle of an Aspen Groveand the sun hits those aspen leaves it casts off a golden glow.
Colorado is a great place to visit in the fall season.

This abandoned church is the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Matheson, Colorado. This church has been abandoned since the 1970's. Everytime I go through this small town on the eastern plains of Colorado I have to stop and photograph this church. For some reason I am drawn to this building to photograph. As long as this church stands I will continue to photograph it.
